TDX SC with Formula CG Tilt seat
1. Enusre wheelchair power is off.
2. Remove the seat cushion.
3. Remove the two socket screws that secure the seat pan to the seat frame.
4. Remove the seat pan from the seat frame.
5. Loosen, but DO NOT remove, the four mounting screws that secure the seat
frame/actuator assembly to the interface mounting plate.
6. Install the front riggings
7. Perform one of the following to ensure the Formula CG seating system is in the proper
mounting position:
NOTE: Some front rigging and seat depth combinations may not allow for the 1-inch gap. In this
situation, slide the seat frame mounting brackets as far back as possible.
• Wheelchairs with Swing Away Front Rigging - Slide the seat frame as far as
possible towards the rear of the wheelchair (FIGURE 1.1). Leave 1 to 1½-inch of
clearance between the front riggings and the front casters in all caster positions.
• Wheelchairs with Manual or Power Center Mount Front Rigging - Slide the seat
frame as far as possible towards the rear of the wheelchair (FIGURE 1.1). Leave 1
to 1½-inch of clearance between the center mount front riggings and the front
shroud.

8. Ensure the interface mounting bracket and the seat frame/actuator assembly are flush
and square.
9. Torque the two front counter sunk socket head cap screws to 23 ft-lbs ± 20% .
10. Turn wheelchair power on and tilt seat to the up position.
11. Turn wheelchair power off.
