Switch on the monitor.

Connect the TOCO transducer to the fetal monitor.

Gently press the center of the transducer.

Check that the value on the display shows this change in pressure.
If a TOCO transducer fails the test, repeat this test with another transducer. If the second one passes
the test, defect of the first transducer is confirmed. Replace it with a good one. If the second
transducer fails the test as well, contact the manufacturer for service.

Disposable intrauterine pressure catheter ACCU-TRACE
b) DECG-IUP Integrated Cable
c)
Wired/wireless DECG Fetal&Maternal Module

7.7.2 Directions for Use of IUPC

Preparation
1)
Gather supplies: ACCU-TRACE IUPC, DECG-IUP integrated cable, and amnioinfusion
supplies if needed.
2)
Open the sterile ACCU-TRACE IUPC package.
