Save, Display, and Recall the Data

Save the Data Files

There are a number of ways you can use the data you collected during your
measurement. Save your data to a file by clicking on the Save icon on the Linear
Display
Documents location (%USERPROFILE%\Documents\E1733A\UserData).
However you can save the data to any desired location by navigating in the usual
way.

The data files for each measurement have their own file extension; the file
extension for linear measurements is .Lin. You have the option of saving the raw
data, the data and the setup information together, or the compensation or
environmental data. The default is to save the data and setup information
together. If you chose to save the raw data, you can select to save it as "comma
separated values" to import into a spreadsheet.
User's setup and measurement data are automatically saved in the AutoSave.*
file when the measurement is just finished. The files are managed by the user.
You can recover the data from this directory in case that you forget to save the
data or a software exception occurs.
