Adjusting Rear Lid - Volkswagen Tiguan 2016 Workshop Manual

– Install rear lid -1- with the aid of a 2nd mechanic.
– Install gas struts -7-
– Guide wires -2, 3, 4 and 5- into rear lid, and attach rubber
grommet.
– Connect connectors of all installed electrical components.
The remaining installation steps are carried out in the reverse se‐
quence of removal.
– Before closing rear lid, check function of lid release compo‐
nents.
