Preparing new windows for installing

Note
The area on which the adhesive bead is applied is not pre‐

coated or primed.
The relevant area is a ceramic coating.
♦
No windows are precoated.
♦
The sealing lip is included with a new windscreen.
♦
– Clean a 20 mm-wide strip all around the edge of the window
with the cleaning solution - D 009 401 04- .
– Then rub edge of window dry using a lint-free cloth.
– Using applicator - D 009 500 25- -1-, apply glass and paint
primer -2- evenly in one pass.
♦ Allow to air dry for approx. 10 minutes.
