6. Install brace (9) with pin (10) and fix them with the lock plate. (Right side of machine)

3 Tightening torque: 153 – 190 Nm {15.5 – 19.5 kgm}
7. Sling brace (9) and tighten cap mounting bolts (11) and (12) temporarily without inserting a shim (to
eliminate the clearance on the ball joint in the axial direction), and then insert shims so that dimen-
sion A will be + 0.2 to 0.5 mm.
(Secure a clearance of 0.2 – 0.5 mm on the ball joint in the axial direction.)
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque and check that the ball joint moves smoothly.
