Sensor
Keep in box until ready for use
l
Don't unscrew applicator cap until ready to insert sensor
l
Receiver
Keep battery charged. Only use Dexcom USB charging/download cable.
l
When carrying the receiver in your purse or pocket consider using a screen
l
protector that doesn't interfere with the information displayed. Protect it from
metal items and pointed objects.
Don't get sunscreen or insect repellent on it.
l
Update the date/time on the receiver when needed.
l
Clean when dirty or at least once a month. Disinfect when needed to avoid
cross-contamination.
To clean
1. Use one of these cleaners:
Damp cloth with liquid hand soap and water

Bleach wipes, such as Clorox Healthcare Bleach Germicidal Wipes
l
Ammonium wipes, such as Super Sani-Cloth Germicidal Wipes
l
2. Wipe
Using moderate pressure, wipe the receiver all over, 3 times up-and-down and
l
3 times side-to-side, to remove all dirt or soil
3. Let air dry

Dexcom G7 continues to show readings 50 or 60 points higher than when I stick my finger and use the supplied recorder. Why?
