Step 6 Reconnect the waterproof connector to the sensor cable.

7.4.8 Replacing a Water Inlet or Outlet Temperature Sensor

Context
Temperature sensors can be replaced with power-on.
Recommended tools: utility knife, needle-nose pliers
Preparation: Maintain from the rear door.
Procedure
Step 1 Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the
screen of the display module.
Step 2 Open the rear door and remove the air filter.
Step 3 Cut off the thermal insulation foam on the pipe where the sensor is secured.
Step 4 Use the needle-nose pliers to clip out the spring tongue fastening the water inlet
or outlet temperature sensor, and remove the sensor probe.

A water inlet or outlet temperature sensor needs to be replaced.
A spare temperature sensor of the same model is available and functional.
