SATCORE SERIES
USER's MANUAL
3.2.2.1.1 M
ONITORING
As Cortex Series, Monitoring & Control data are exchanged between the Signal Processing Software (SPS) and
remote M&C clients over Ethernet ports 3000 / 3001 / 3002 / 3003. The Satcore acts as a data server. Data are
exchanged using the connected-sockets communication protocol.
The figure below is an extract from Cortex HDR and Cortex CRT interface documents where these ports are
highlighted.
All these transfer flows are shared by Satcore Direct Payload Receiver and TT&C modem. For instance, a reset
command sent through port 3002 is applied to both products, a "Change menu" command sent through RAC port
3003 is applied to both products.
Because of no overlapping component codes, there is no conflict to access simultaneously to any monitoring table.
Note that the maximum number of connections is related to the shared port.
