PC-compatible Workstation

The PC-compatible workstation cabling and rack-mounting are described in [RD4].
Slide rails are recommended for an optimal integration into racks. It allows easy maintenance and enables to
mount Satcore units without free space. Four screws are available at each side of the chassis for slide rails
mounting. Zodiac Data Systems recommends to use telescopic slides GHA-SL20.
Note that air flow is from the front panel towards the rear panel of the chassis. Plan a free space area in the front,
and check that no air recirculation degrades the Satcore operational conditions.
With standard rails, it is highly recommended to keep 1U free space above the Satcore in order to prevent from
scratching the hood.
