After the treatment, the teeth are clean and the dental cuticule is completely eliminated. Its recon-
stitution by salivary proteins requires between 2 and 3 hours. During this time, the teeth do not have any
more natural protection with respect to colouring.
Tell your patient that during 2 to 3 hours following treatment, he should neither smoke, nor consume
food or drinks which could strongly colour the teeth (tea, coffee...).
