Power setting air/powder and water flow rate adjustment

Never use the PERIO-FLOW handpiece without water flow; this could cause lesions in the
treatment area.
• Start the treatment with water flow rate adjustment control set at medium setting. Then adjust
the irrigation to obtain a flow as required for treatment.
• Start the treatment with the power setting air/powder control to the minimum setting. It can then
be adjusted as required during the treatment.
Position the pump for sublingual aspiration.
Use the high-speed evacuator of your dental unit to evacuate the air/powder mixture deviated
by the treated tooth.
