5.7.2 Connecting the temperature monitoring equipment

The submersible motors can be fitted with a temperature sensor for the motor fill
temperature.
A temperature sensor is required whenever the operating limits of the motor may be
exceeded because of reduced cooling (e.g. ochre build-up, increased temperature of
fluid handled, etc.).
▪ Insertion-type sensor
▪ Can be retrofitted

▪ 4-core, 0.5 mm
▪ 10 m shielded electric cable
▪ Maximum total length: 280 m
▪ Retrofitting requires the pump and motor to be separated from each other, see
the manufacturer's product literature.
