7 Servicing/Maintenance
DANGER
Supply frequency inverter switched on or frequency inverter not discharged
Electric shock by electrical voltage at the motor lead ends and at the inverter
terminals and filter terminals!
▷ Observe the safety regulations which apply to work involving electrical hazards.
Verify that the equipment is de-energised.
WARNING
Persons could fall into unsecured wells/reservoirs/tanks
Risk of personal injury!
▷ During installation work, take suitable precautions to protect anyone from
falling into an open well/reservoir/tank.
▷ Suitably fence off the work area.
WARNING
Uncontrolled lifting of the pump (set) or drive
Risk of injury!
▷ Maintain adequate safety distance during lifting operations (load may swing
when being lifted).
WARNING
Pump set tilting
Risk of squashing hands and feet!
▷ Suspend or support the pump set.
ü Suitable lifting equipment for the total weight has been selected and is on hand.

ü Suitable dismantling equipment, e.g. supporting clamps or mounting plate are
available.
1. Disconnect the pump set from the power supply and secure it against
unintentional start-up.
2. For removing the pump set refer to the assembly/dismantling instructions of the
corresponding riser.
WARNING
Placing down a pump set with pipe sections of extensive length
Impermissible bending of the pump set when setting it down!
▷ The length of the last pipe section flanged to the pump set must not exceed 2
metres.
3. Place the pump set in a horizontal position on a solid and level surface and
secure it against rolling off.
