Two mixing augers [A] circulate the developer forward d and backward to agitate the developer in order to
mix the developer and toner well.
This occurs at the following times:
• During TD calibration
• During development.
Filters [B] on the top of the development unit ensure th hat the internal pressure does not become too high.
During the operating, this prevents contamination of th he imaging unit by the toner.
