Before every journey, make sure that the ISOFIX
child restraint system or the i‑Size child restraint
system is engaged correctly in both ISOFIX or
i‑Size mounting brackets.
* NOTE Damage to the seat belt for the
centre seat during installation of the child
restraint system
Make sure that the seat belt is not trap-
#
ped.
Vehicles with reclining rear seats: before an
#
ISOFIX or i-Size child restraint system is instal-
led, tilt the backrest of the reclining rear seat
back slightly.
Fold upholstered lining 1 upwards.

Pull the tab on upholstered lining
#
and position it on the support surface.
Upholstered lining 1 will remain folded
upwards.
Attach the ISOFIX or i‑Size child restraint sys-
#
tem to both mounting brackets
cle.
To close, fold upholstered lining
#
Lift the tab from the support surface and slide
#
it back into the upholstery slot between the
seat backrest and seat cushion. Close the
upholstery flap.
Vehicles with reclining rear seats: return the
#
reclining rear seat backrest to an upright posi-
tion.
The reclining rear seat backrest must be in
contact with the child restraint system.
