4. Parallel UPS
4.1 Introduction
XP1K(S)/2K(S)/3K(S) redundancy parallel (1+1=1), means two 1K(2K/3K) modules are
paralleled but only 1K(2K/3K) capacity is available. Thus when one UPS module is out of
work or under repairing, the other module will keep the output power supply uninterruptible.
So redundancy parallel provides excellent protect and support for those sensitive equip-
ments that have high requirements in power supply. At the meanwhile, redundancy parallel
halves each module's output power, so each module's working intensity is reduced. Thus
UPS's lifetime and reliability are greatly enhanced.
