Problems
Sometimes printer problems are very simple to solve. When you
have a problem, first make sure that:

The tables in this chapter define some printing problems and what
you can do to resolve them. If the suggested corrective action
doesn't fix the problem, call your service representative.
The power cord is plugged into the printer and a properly
grounded electrical outlet.
The printer power switch is On (|).
The electrical outlet is not turned off by any switch or
breaker.
Other electrical equipment plugged into the outlet is
working.
All options are installed properly.
Turn the printer power Off (O), wait for about 10 seconds,
and then turn the printer On (|). This often fixes the
problem.
