On top of the Ai1 are 6 x M6 bolts
bolts used to secure top mounted optional items, such as a navigation lantern or a satellite transceiver. The M6
bolts are arranged on a 100mm square, as illustrated in Figure 16. The bolt pattern is the same on the underside of
the Ai1, on the clear electronics plates.

2.3 Wiring

The wiring and control of the Ai1 is via the terminal plate at the bottom of the system, protected behind a clear
acrylic plate with an o-ring seal. Cable entry can be via the clear plate or via glands inside the side of the housing,
depending on the application. It is recommended to use the clear acrylic plate if practical as these are available as
replacement spare parts should the wiring and cable entry need to be changed.
