3) Free the hook [3], and slide the manual
feed roller [4] to the right to detach.

Removing the Separation Pad

1) Remove the manual feed tray (upper).
(See 2.6.3 "Removing the Manual Feed
Tray (upper)")
2) Remove the manual feed tray (lower).
(See 2.6.4 "Removing the Manual Feed
Tray (lower)")
3) Open the right door.
4) Remove the screw [1], and detach the
separation pad [2].
