11.2.3 Octalarm-IP in combination with VoIP

When Voice over IP (VoIP), in other words internet telephony, is used there are a number
of important recommendations concerning the connection and use of overvoltage
protection and the emergency power supply. Consult paragraph 11.2.1 Alarm reporting
by telephone using internet telephony (VoIP) for this. The Octalarm should be connected
as follows:
This set-up has overvoltage protection and an emergency power supply in accordance
with the recommendations. Both are available from Adésys.
