Removal & Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the starter.
3. Remove the air cleaner housing (See Air Cleaner Housing Removal & Installation in Section 02 Engine).
4. Remove the starter battery B+ terminal nut (2).
(Tighten: Starter B+ terminal nut to 10 N·m)
5. Remove the starter solenoid connector (3).
6. Remove the two starter mounting bolts (1) connect-
ing the starter and transaxle.
(Tighten: Starter mounting bolts to 30 N·m)
7. Remove the starter from the engine.
8. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
