4. Remove the parking brake clip with priers (1) under
the rear wheels.
5. Remove the three retaining bracket bolts of the parking brake cable.
(Tighten: Parking brake cable bracket bolts to 9 - 12 N·m)
6. Remove the lower console (See Lower Console Removal & Installation in Section 15 Body & Accessories).
7. Release and lower the parking brake lever.
8. Remove the parking brake adjustment nut (1).
