CHECK DTC
• With the X-431 scan tool, read ABS module DTCs.
• Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure .
Is DTC C1604 still present?
Yes >>
Replace the ABS module (See ABS Module Removal & Installation in Section 12 Brakes).
No >>
The system is now operating properly.
Reassemble the vehicle and road test to verify the customers complaint is repaired.
