For example, the following command issued from the command line
associates the SIDES parameter with the PSLEGAL_PUBS generic
queue:
$ DEFINE/SYSTEM QMS$PSLEGAL_PUBS_QUEUE -
_$ "SIDES=TWO"
Whenever a job is sent to the PSLEGAL_PUBS queue, the job con-
troller adds the SIDES=TWO parameter to the existing parameters
(defined in the generic queue) that apply to all jobs sent to the queue.
Changing parameters in logicals is also done from the command line.
For example, to change the SIDES parameter from TWO to TUMBLE,
use the following command:
$ DEFINE/SYSTEM QMS$PSLEGAL_PUBS_QUEUE -
_$ SIDES=TUMBLE
All logicals are stored in the SYSTEM table. To view a list of all logi-
cals that you have associated with the QMS printer, use the following
command:
$ SHOW LOGICAL QMS*
To remove a logical list, use the DEASSIGN command:
$ DEASSIGN/SYSTEM QMS$ queue_name _QUEUE
Beginning queue names with keywords that specify the data type has
the lowest precedence. The following is a list of keywords and the
emulation/language they imply:
