To verify that the HSL application is running, enter the appropriate
command:
$ mc ncp show object HSL
The following information is displayed on a DECNet host

$ mc ncl show session control application HSL
» Note: To prevent the creation of a log file, delete the directory
SYS$SPECIFIC:[HSL]. By default, VMS creates a NETSERVER.LOG
file in this directory for each connection to the HSL application.
Deleting the [HSL] directory prevents this log file from accumulating.
