You're now asked whether you're installing a DECnet or a
serial/parallel symbiont:
* Configure host software for a serial/parallel
interface (rather than a DECnet) [NO]?
Type Y and press Enter
Refer to the Version 3.x Release Notes, located in the
SYS$HELP directory, for information on configuring the host soft-
ware for other/additional interfaces.

The next prompt concerns the IVP (Installation Verification
Program). The IVP is a single test print job that verifies soft-
ware installation and network connectivity of the printer at
the end of the installation process.
* Do you want to run the IVP after the
installation [YES]?

Type Y to queue a test file to be printed following the installa-
tion.

Type N if you don't want to print the test file.
* Do you want to purge files replaced by this
installation [YES]?
n
Type Y if you want all files from the previous installation
deleted.
n
Type N if you want files from previous installation left on the
disk.
