If system gives 'the x bus sensor fault', use a multimeter to measure the voltage between 'G, M' terminals of the insulation hall
current sensor. Use a non-inductive screwdriver to adjust the trimmer on the hall sensor, so that the voltages between 'G, M'
terminals is from -100mV to 100mV, and then check that there is no alarm after recalibration
If the voltage of hall current sensor is not adjusted from -100mV to 100mV, please contact Vertiv technical support personnel

2.3.7 Setting Basic Parameters of Controller

Before putting the system into service, system setting must be done through the controller according to the actual system
configuration, battery string number, battery nominal capacity, charge current limit and other function requirements. Otherwise,
the system information display and output control cannot function normally.
For the detailed parameter setting method of this controller, refer to M822E Controller User Manual .
Check Item
Set 'Bat. Fuse' according to the battery string number actually connected. (default: 2)
Set the HDU distribution controller in the DC cabinet, the path is: Pressing the ENT key in running status screen to access
the main menu. 'Manu – Settings – DC info -- Batt1~ 4 Current'. Set the connected 'batt x current' to 'shunt', if one DC
distribution cabinet connects two group batteries, you should set the 'Batt1~2 Current' to 'shunt' and 'Batt3~4 Current' to
'None'
Set 'Capacity' according to the total capacity of all the batteries connected to the power system (default: 300Ah)
Set the controller (M822E) in the rectifier cabinet, the path is: 'Manu – Battery – Set – Rated Capacity'
After setting, you need to enter 'Manu – Battery – Ctrl – Reset Batt Cap -- Yes' to reset the battery capacity
Configure the temperature coefficient according to the battery manufacturer's requirement. Setting range: 0-500mV/°C.
Default: 504mV/°C.
Set the controller (M822E) in the rectifier cabinet, the path is: 'Manu – Battery – Set – Temp Comp Coeff'. If the
temperature sensor is not configured, ignore it
Set the charge current limit according to your needs. Setting range: 0.1C
Set the controller (M822E) in the rectifier cabinet, the path is: 'Manu – Battery – Set – Batt Curr Limit'
Set the controller according to the voltage suggested by the battery supplier.
Floating Charge (FC) voltage: 378V; Boost Charge (BC) voltage: 394.8V.
For batteries that do not need BC, set the BC voltage to FC voltage plus 0.1V
Set the controller (M822E) in the rectifier cabinet, the path is: 'Manu – Battery – Set – Float Volt/ EQ Volt'
Close the battery circuit fuse or switch, and connect the battery to the circuit
Note: When entering 'Control', 'Settings', input password '1'

2.4 Alarm Check and System Operation Status Check

Alarm check
Check that all functional units can trigger alarms that can be displayed on the controller.
Check Item
Switch off a load MCB connected to a load route. The alarm 'Load Fuse N Failure' should be triggered. Switch on the MCB,
and the alarm should be cleared. Repeat the same on the other load MCBs
Remove all the battery input fuses. Keep only one rectifier in operation. Through the controller, adjust the rectifier FC
voltage to make it lower than the alarm point. The alarm 'DC Voltage Low' should be triggered
Note: When the preceding alarms are generated, the controller will give alarms after approximately 3s. Click
touch screen, you can view the current alarms; click
Refer to M822E Controller User Manual for more information about viewing historical alarms
System operation status check
There should be no alarm during normal system operation. The system operation status check can be conducted through the
controller.
