TROUBLESHOOTING

Type of problem
Control lamp do not illuminate when
the unit is switched on
No powder/air jet coming from the
handpiece when the footpedal is
activated
No water jet coming from the
handpiece when the footpedal is
activated
Water flow from the handpiece with-
out pressing the footpedal
Air flow from the handpiece without
pressing the footpedal

Solutions
• Switch on the unit with the power switch
• Check the connections of the power cable of the unit
• Check the power supply of the dental office
• Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
• Switch on the unit with the power switch
• Check the connections between the power cable and the unit
• Check the power supply of the dental office
• Check if the Piezon handpiece cord is in its holder
• Check the air connection of the unit
• Check the connections between the unit, the handpiece cord and the handpiece
• Check the connection of the footpedal
• Check the compressed air supply
• Clean and dry the powder chamber
• Check for presence of powder/air at cord outlet port without handpiece
• Check for presence of powder/air at the system connector outlet without cord
• Eliminate residual powder present in the handpiece powder channel using cleaning needles
• Check the quantity of powder in your unit
• Send the handpiece, the cord or the unit to an approved EMS repair center
• Switch on the unit with the power switch
• Check the connections between the power cable and the unit
• Check the power supply of the dental office
• Check the filter
• Check the water adjustment of your unit
• Check the water supply of the unit
• Check if the water channel of the cord is blocked, blowing through it with compressed air (max 3 bar)
---> If is blocked, send the cord to an approved EMS repair center
• Check the connections between the unit, the cord and the handpiece
• Check the presence of water at the connector cord output without handpiece
---> If water, the handpiece is blocked and send it to an approved EMS repair center
• Check the presence of water at the unit connector cord without the cord
• Check the water supply of the office
• Send the handpiece to an approved EMS repair center
• Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
• Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
