It is also recommended that the inlet is fully switched off and

allowed to cool.
Capillary Replacement (Prima PRO)
To replace the capillary assembly, the vacuum system will need
to be shut down so that the transfer line can be disconnected from
the sample tube.
Unscrew the transfer line fitting from the sample tube to expose
the capillary assembly. The capillary can be removed using a
3mm hexagon key.

Note that the capillary assembly has a small o-ring seal fitted to
the inner face. This may remain behind in the sample tube when
the capillary is removed. Carefully remove the o-ring prior to
fitting a new capillary assembly taking care not to scratch the
sealing surface in the bottom of the bore.
When replacing the capillary, take care to locate the o-ring on the
end of the assembly, and keep it in place during the refitting
process. Reinstall the transfer line fitting and the transfer line.
Filter Replacement
Remove the stator cover to reveal the sample arm. Note the
position of the sample arm (check which port it is positioned
over, and that it is central over that port). Remove the two screws
holding the sample return seal retainer in place and then carefully
remove the seal. Undo the four screws fixing the sample arm to
the main shaft and carefully pull off the sample arm.
Note:
The seal in the end of the sample arm is spring loaded and

could drop out when the sample arm is removed.
Loss or damage to this seal and or spring will render the

sampler unusable.
Exercise care when removing the sample arm and ensure the

spring and seal are set aside for refitting later.
The above procedure exposes the double rotary seals, two back-
to-back seals on the main axis, between the sample arm and the
