1. Switch off the host system.
2. Use the RS-232 cable to connect the MaxiScan 2200 to the host system.
Do not switch on the host system.
3. If your host system requires an external power supply:
Connect the power supply to the RS-232 cable.
Plug the power supply into the mains socket.
