7.5.2 Adjusting the lower leg length

INFORMATION
Ensure adequate ground clearance when adjusting the lower leg length.
The required foot plate position depends on the lower leg length of the user and the thickness of the seat cush­
ion/seating shell/seating solution that is used.
a) Adjusting the lower leg length of the following leg supports:
Single-panel (aluminium)
Segmented (aluminium)
Segmented, elevating with ratchet joint (aluminium)
1) Loosen the clamping screws on the guide tubes of both leg support holders (see fig. 10, item 1).
2) Adjust the lower leg length (continuously adjustable). The foot plate mounting bars must remain inserted in the
guide tubes to a depth of at least 40 mm. Otherwise, the mounting bars can slide out of the guide tubes.
3) Tighten the clamping screws to 10 Nm (see fig. 10, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.

b) Adjusting the lower leg length of the following leg support:
Single-panel for short lower leg length (aluminium)
The lower leg length of the leg supports can be adjusted on the guide tubes of both leg support holders (see
fig. 11, item 1) and both slotted perforated plates (see fig. 11, item 2).
Adjusting the lower leg length on the guide tubes
1) Loosen and remove the screw connections on both guide tubes and slotted perforated plates (see fig. 11,
item 3).
2) Slide the foot plate with the slotted perforated plates to the desired height (see fig. 11, item 4).
3) Insert the screw connections into the appropriate slots on both guide tubes and slotted perforated plates and
firmly tighten them (see fig. 11, item 3).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.
