Settings
The footplates are the supporting surfaces for the feet.
Their distance from the seat bottom influences sitting stability. The height adjustment acts on the pelvis and ischial
bones.
The angle of the footplates should permit a comfortable ankle position.

7.5.1 Adjusting the depth of the leg supports/foot plates

a) Adjusting the depth of the following leg supports:
Single-panel (aluminium)
Single-panel for short lower leg length (aluminium)
Segmented (aluminium)
Segmented, elevating with ratchet joint (aluminium)
The depth of the leg support can be adjusted using the perforated holes in the seat bars.
1) Loosen and remove the screw connections on the seat bars on both sides (see fig. 7, item 1).
2) Slide the leg support with the leg support attachment devices to the desired depth (see fig. 7, item 2).
3) Insert the screw connections into the appropriate slots on the seat bars and leg support attachment devices,
and tighten them to 6 Nm (see fig. 7, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.

b) Adjusting the depth of the following leg support:
With single-panel foot plate for seating shell interface (steel)
The leg support is mounted on the seating shell interface (parallel adaption) or interface adapter (trapezoid
adapter).
Adjusting the depth on the seating shell interface (parallel adaption)
The depth of the leg support can be continuously adjusted on the side attachments of the seating shell interface.
1) Loosen the screw connections on the seating shell interface on both sides (see fig. 8, item 1).
2) Slide the leg support with the bars to the desired depth (see fig. 8, item 2).
3) Tighten the screw connections on the seating shell interface to 1.5 Nm (see fig. 8, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.
Adjusting the depth on the interface adapter (trapezoid adapter)
The depth of the leg support can be continuously adjusted on the attachments of the interface adapter.
1) Loosen the screw connections on the interface adapter on both sides (see fig. 9, item 1).
2) Slide the leg support with the bars to the desired depth (see fig. 9, item 2).
3) Tighten the screw connections on the interface adapter (see fig. 9, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is secure.
