7.1 General instructions
DANGER
Collecting tank opened without de-energising the system
Danger to life!
▷ De-energise the system prior to opening the collecting tank.
DANGER
Persons in the tank during operation / Persons touching live parts
Danger of death from electric shock!
▷ Never energise the system when persons are in the tank.
The operator ensures that maintenance, inspection and installation are performed by
authorised, qualified specialist personnel who are thoroughly familiar with the
manual.
Maintain one log book per pump station. Enter the results of servicing and inspection
work in the log book.
Servicing and maintaining drainage systems to DIN 1986-3:
▪ Any waste water has to be discharged properly.
▪ Any changes have to be detected and remedied in time.
▪ For any maintenance work at a pump set, pull the pump set out of the collecting
tank.
7.2 Inspection contract
For inspection work and servicing work we recommend the inspection contract.
