5.6 Back-filling and compacting the construction pit

CAUTION
Insufficient compacting of filling material
Sinking of the ground around the collecting tank!
▷ Before starting with the compaction, determine the compaction required.
▷ Do not use hydraulic compaction.
Collecting tank
CAUTION
One-sided pressure load on the collecting tank when back-filling the construction
pit
Damage to the collecting tank!
▷ Fill the collecting tank with water before back-filling the construction pit.
▷ Never use stones, shingle or coarse gravel as backfill material directly at the
collecting tank.
