3 Transport/Storage/Disposal

3.1 Checking the condition upon delivery

1. On transfer of goods, check each packaging unit for damage.
2. In the event of in-transit damage, assess the exact damage, document it and
notify or the supplying dealer and the insurer about the damage in writing
immediately.

3.2 Transport

Collecting tank tipping over
Risk of injury by falling system!
▷ Observe the applicable local accident prevention regulations.
▷ Observe the information on weights, centre of gravity and fastening points.
▷ Use suitable and permitted transport equipment, e.g. crane, forklift or pallet
truck.
▷ To transport the collecting tank, suspend it from the lifting tackle as illustrated.
CAUTION
Improper transport
Damage to the collecting tank!
▷ Prevent impermissible loads when transporting the collecting tank.
▷ Never use chains or steel ropes for transport.
▷ Watch the nozzles and any protruding parts.
▷ Do not roll or drag the collecting tank along the floor.
NOTE
A sufficiently firm all weather access to the unloading area and a turning facility for
trucks must be provided. Should the truck become stuck, any additional costs must
be borne by the customer.

ü Transport equipment / lifting equipment suitable for the corresponding weight
(see data sheet) has been selected and is on hand.
1. Suspend the collecting tank from the lifting equipment in either a horizontal or
a vertical position.
2. Transport the collecting tank to the place of installation.
3. Carefully place down the collecting tank at the place of installation. Protect it
against damage and secure it against tipping over / rolling off.
