Symptom
Compressor oil pressure too

Compressor oil level too low.
Compressor oil filter clogged.

Compressor oil pressure sensor disconnected.
Engine oil pressure does not build up.
Compressor oil pressure does not build up.
Faulty compressor oil pressure shutdown switch.
ECM fault.
Coolant level(s) too low.
Crank time too short.
Ambient temperature too low.
Speed sensor inoperative.
Insufficient fuel supply.
Temperature or pressure sensor missing or
malfunctioning.
Restriction in fuel supply to engine.
Air leak in fuel suction line or fuel filters.

Corrective action
Before checking compressor oil level, wait
approx. 10 minutes after unit has stopped.
Add correct oil, if necessary. Never overfill.
Replace compressor oil filter.
Remove bypass valve, clean and inspect.
Remove oil pump and inspect parts for wear.
Remove bypass valve, clean and inspect.
Use heaters, check oil viscosity.
Connect wiring.
See Engine Operation Manual.
See problem "Compressor oil pressure too low".
Remove and test switch. Replace, if out of order.
Consult Atlas Copco.
Check and adjust coolant level(s), if necessary.
Adjust crank time on User Interface.
Connect engine heaters.
Check speed sensor and electric wiring.
Check fuel lines or bleed.
Check via the User Interface display and replace
sensor.
Check fuel lines and fuel filters.
Check suction side of electric fuel pump and fuel
filters for air leaks.
See problem "Compressor oil pressure too low".

See Engine Operation Manual.
Have compressor element(s) inspected by Atlas
Copco.
Remove and inspect air filter elements.
Clean or replace elements, if necessary.
Remove valve(s), clean and inspect.
Check interstage pressure. Check functioning of
loading solenoid valve. Replace diaphragm of
blow-off valve if necessary.
Inspect pipe connections and intercooler.
Replace leaking O-rings, gaskets or intercooler,
if necessary.
Have LP compressor element inspected by Atlas
Copco.
Consult Atlas Copco.
