Locking the doors with the vehicle key
b b Operating mode P selected.
b b All doors closed.
e Press button
once.
Two warning signals sound and the emergency
flasher flashes twice.
The door handles retract.
If persons or animals remain in the vehicle:
e Press button
twice within 2 seconds.
The emergency flasher emits one long flash.
The door handles retract.
The doors are locked but can be opened from the
inside by pulling the door opener.
e Inform any persons remaining in the vehicle that
the alarm system will be triggered if the door is
opened.
Information
The vehicle cannot be completely locked if the doors
or luggage compartment lid are not fully closed.
Information
If the key is inside the vehicle when you lock it, the
vehicle will be unlocked again. Two warning signals
sound and the emergency flasher flashes four times.
If a door or the luggage compartment lid is not
opened within approx. 45 seconds, the vehicle is
locked and can only be unlocked using a second key.
e Make sure that the vehicle key is not left inside
the vehicle when locking it.

– The vehicle cannot be completely locked if the

– The vehicle key must be outside the vehicle
when locking, otherwise the vehicle cannot be
locked.
