NOTICE
When the rear spoiler is extended, the supply of air
to the charge air cooler can be obstructed as foreign
bodies can get trapped inside.
e Never park the vehicle with the rear spoiler
extended.
The rear spoiler improves driving stability at high
speeds. Using automatic mode is recommended.
A warning message appears on the instrument clus-
ter in the event of a failure of the spoiler control.

Automatic mode
The rear spoiler extends and retracts automatically
depending on the speed and the driving program
selected.
Manual mode
When the ignition is switched on, the rear spoiler can
be extended and retracted manually using the PCM.
Information
The selected spoiler position can be stored in
INDIVIDUAL mode.
Manual extension
e Select CAR
e DRIVE
e Spoiler.
The rear spoiler is extended. The current spoiler
position is indicated in the vehicle model.
Manual retraction
e DRIVE
e Spoiler.
1. Select CAR
2. Current speed < 9 mph (15 km/h): Press and
hold Spoiler button until the rear spoiler has
reached its final position.
– or –
Current speed > 9 mph (15 km/h): Press
Spoiler button briefly.
The rear spoiler is in automatic mode.

the extendible spoilers.
e Adapt your driving style and speed to the altered
vehicle handling.
e Have the error rectified at a qualified specialist
repair shop.
