Safety and Driving Pleasure
e Only use Launch Control on public roads if the
road and traffic conditions permit.
e Do not endanger other road users when driving
off with Launch Control.
> Please see chapter "Transmission" on
page 262.
e By switching the sports exhaust system to the
sound-optimized mode, the very sporty driving
style is accompanied by a significantly increased
noise level. Therefore, assume your social re-
sponsibility and respect nearby residents, espe-
cially at night.
Responding correctly to warning signals
If the systems detect malfunctions or defective
parts, the vehicle warns you with lights or messages
in the instrument cluster or PCM. Disregarding ve-
hicle warning signals may result in an increased risk
of accidents, injuries and damages on the vehicle.
e Familiarize yourself with the meaning of warning
lights and messages and pay attention to the in-
structions regarding warning and information
messages before starting to drive so that you
can respond correctly to the warnings. Stop
driving if necessary.
> Please see chapter "Warning and Information
Messages" on page 280.
> Please see chapter "Instrument Cluster" on
page 138.
