Opening the belt buckle and re-
moving the seat belt

1. Hold the belt latch.
2. Press the red button on the seat-belt buckle.
3. Move the belt latch to approximately 3 in. (7 cm)
below the belt outlet and slide the plastic slider
underneath the belt latch.
The function of the plastic slider is to ensure that
the belt latch is easily accessible.
