8 Troubleshooting Guide
PROBLEM
1. The On / Standby on the front
panel of the receiver is not turned
on.
2. No Video / Audio signal.
3. The channels are not loaded.
4. Adjustments made in the menu
are not stored.
5. The remote control does not
work.
6. The program information is not
displayed.
7. The receiver does not respond to
the remote control buttons or the
front panel.
8. The timer does not start or work
properly.
9. The USB memory
recognized.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
The power supply is not plugged into
the power outlet or the receiver.
The 0/I rear button is in position 0.
The antenna signal is absent or weak.
The tuned channel is not broadcasting
or is obsolete.
The HDMI audio-video cable is not
connected properly or is defective.
The HDMI output resolution selected
is not compatible with that of the
screen.
Low or mute audio volume.
The TV is not switched to the correct
audio-video channel.
Absent or weak antenna signal.
Transponder / Mux chosen is obsolete
or not transmitting.
The transponder of the the desired
channel is not in the database.
Failure to confirm after changing
settings.
The remote is not pointed correctly
towards the receiver.
The batteries are low.
Batteries are badly positioned.
The remote control is in the wrong
mode of operation.
The remote control has fallen and its
components have been damaged.
