desired folder, then press OK on the media to read.

6.3 Personal Video Recorder (PVR)
Before proceeding to the use of a USB type of mass storage such as a disk-drive (Hard Disk Driver - HDD) or a flash
memory/flash drive, follow the relevant rules and warnings in paragraph 6.1 and 6.3.1.
6.3.1 Technical characteristics of the recorder
Below is a list of information and rules to consider and adhere for a correct use of the recording functions:
1.
Use NTFS formatted memory in order to avoid limitations in recording file size.
2.
The USB memory connected to the receiver must have a capacity greater than 50MB. Under this limit, the receiver
cease any recording in progress, including the TimeShift.
3.
Minimum duration of a recording is one minute, otherwise resultant file can not be saved.
4.
For recording you should always use a high-performance 3.0 USB memory device (see par. 6.1.3) connected to the
USB 3.0 port on the rear panel of the receiver, especially for UHD channels.
5.
The receiver allows up to 2 simultaneous recordings.
6.
While recording a channel, you can only go to another channel which is transmitted on the same frequency of the
one in recording or which is received from the other tuner (terrestrial / satellite).
7.
While recording a program decrypted by the CAM, you can view and/or record simultaneously another channel
which is not decoded by the CAM.
8.
Contents recorded from a scrambled channels through the CAM, saved in
playable only by the same receiver that has performed the recording.
9.
Before proceeding with a recording longer than three hours, disable or properly change the Auto Power Down (see
par. 5.7).
10. Remember to keep the USB memory connected to avoid the failure of scheduled recordings.
11. If a scheduled timer has to start while another recording is already in progress and both of these events are in
conflict (e.g. because they do not comply with a rule of the above points 5, 6 and 7), a message on screen will ask the
user to choose the recording to end in favor of the other one. If user selection is not done, after a few seconds the
timer will fail in favor of the current recording.
NOTE
Broadcasters may decide to ban recording for issues related to the protection of copyright.
