6 Lift the clip and slip the battery out of its holder, as shown in Figure 60.
Note the orientation of the battery. Make sure that you put the new battery
in place with the positive (+) side facing in the same direction.

Removing the Battery

7 Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one. (Only use HP part
number 1420-0314 or equivalent.)
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with
the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.
