Assemble your iX-1
Before you begin, decide if you are going to use a wired (LAN) or wireless (Wi-Fi)
connection, then visit our how to hub at
videos for wired and wireless configurations.

Unpack the box
Remove the iX-1 (a) and the
weighing platform (d) from the
packaging.

Unpack the meter
Write down the serial number.
You will need to reference the
meter serial number if you need
help from our specialists.

Install the meter
Turn the iX-1 on its back and open
the meter cover located on the
bottom of the mailing system.
Insert the meter (b) by positioning
it vertically, with the contacts
down facing to the rear and the
labels facing towards you.
Close the cover and return the
iX-1 to the upright position.

Remove print head packaging
Open the front cover by pulling
the upper left corner towards
you.
Remove the protective packag-
ing, then close the front cover.

Unpack the ink cartridge
Remove the cartridge from the
packaging.
Remove the protective film from
the print head.

Install the ink cartridge

Open the front cover, then open
the ink cartridge slot by pulling
the blue lever towards you and
turning it to the right.
Insert the ink cartridge (c), then
turn the blue lever back to the
left until the cartridge is secured

and close the cover.

Install the weighing platform

Plug the weighing platform
connector
located on the back of the iX-1.
Tuck the cable into the extra
space at the back of the system,
then place the weighing platform
on top of the iX-1.

Connect the internet cable
Plug one end of the LAN cable
into the internet cable port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Plug the other end into a LAN
wall port or Wi-Fi router.

Connect the power cable
Plug the power cable connector
into the power adapter.
Plug the power adapter connector
into the back of the iX-1.
Plug the other end of the power
cable into the wall outlet.

The system will power up
