Provides a way to configure various settings for the Ethernet port. The fol-
lowing options are available for review and editing:
Port Name
Defines the name of the Ethernet port. You can leave this
field blank.
IP Address
Lists the address assigned to the base Ethernet port. This
address is composed of four decimal numbers, each in the
range of 0 to 255, separated by periods. This value is set to
0.0.0.0 by default. The IP address is used for the 10BaseT
Ethernet interface. Obtain the correct IP address from your
LAN administrator.
Default
Defines or changes the default gateway. Enter the default
Gateway
gateway address by entering a decimal number into the ap-
propriate field and then pressing Enter to move to the next
field. You will need a default gateway if the LAN contains
multiple segments. This address is composed of four deci-
mal numbers, each in the range of 0 to 255, separated by pe-
riods. This value is set to 0.0.0.0 by default. Contact your
LAN administrator for the appropriate address.
Subnet
Defines which part of a destination IP address contains the
Mask
network number. This address is composed of four decimal
numbers, each in the range of 0 to 255, separated by periods.
This value is set to 0.0.0.0 by default. This part of the desti-
nation IP address is used along with the ATLAS_800 IP ad-
dress to determine which nodes must be reached through
the default IP gateway.

Accepts input for configuring the chain-in port.

Defines the name of the chain port. Type in an alpha-numeric name up to 57
characters long. The name can include spaces and special characters.

Specifies whether you use Direct or Dial mode.

Specifies the baud rate of the port. Select either 2400 or 9600. If you are
using Dial for Port Type , ensure that the Port Speed setting matches the
modem baud rate.

Specifies the initialization string for a modem. Refer to your modem docu-
mentation for acceptable initialization strings.
