The valve switching cycles are only saved if two minutes have passed
since they were last saved. This also applies if the UA actuator voltage
has between switched off more than every two minutes. The valve

7 Updating the module software

To update the AES module software, you can either connect the AES module di-
rectly to a PC or the fieldbus (see g 3. Establishing a connection to the web
server).
The EtherNet connection is interrupted during the update process!
The AES module will not work while the update is running. The AES module
restarts to finish the update. During reboot, the AES module EtherNet connec-
tion is interrupted.
1. Never update the AES module software while the controlled machine is run-
ning.
2. Only update the software if the machine is in a safe state.

5. Select the update file. This file must not be renamed, otherwise the update
will fail. The name is:
- "Profinet.bin" for PROFINET IO
- "Powerlink.bin" for POWERLINK
- "EthernetIP.bin" for EtherNet/IP
