- refit the filter holder in the machine and press
the tick (V); the group washing cycle will start
automatically and the display will show the
message "Wash in progress...";
- once the washing cycle has finished, the following
screen will appear on the display:

- remove the filter holder and clean the blind filter,
washing it with running water;
- refit the filter holder with blind filter without
detergent in the group, press the tick (V) and
start the rinsing phase; the display will show the

message "Rinse in progress...";
- at the end of the rinsing phase, the display will
show "Rinse completed - Press confirm button";
- disassemble and remove the filter holder, replace
the blind filter with the normal filter and dispense a
coffee to eliminate any unpleasant flavours.
15.2.b DAILY MACHINE CLEANING
WARNING: DO NOT use corrosive
or abrasive detergents, use only
detergents specifically for cleaning
coffee machines or cleaning dishes.
DO NOT clean the machine using
water jets.
For cleaning, proceed as follows:
- clean the entire machine frame with a non-
abrasive cloth and lukewarm water (about 30°C);
- remove the filter holder and empty it;
- remove the filter from its holder and immerse both
in a basin containing a specific detergent, leaving
them to soak for as long as the machine is not
used;
- Check the steam wand and the hot water tap to
make sure they are not encrusted, if necessary
clean them using specific detergents or hot water.
Wands and taps should be cleaned after each use
with a damp cloth;
