DECOMMISSIONING, CHECKS AND
13 TEMPORARY DECOMMISSIONING
If the machine is not used for a long period, perform
the following operations:
- Perform maintenance operations.
- Disconnect water and power supply.
Drain the water contained in the boiler as follows:
- remove the upper cup heating plate.
ATTENTION: Before performing
this operation, make sure that
the coffee machine is off (power
supply upstream of the machine
disconnected), that the water supply
tap upstream of the machine is
closed and that the water in the
boiler is cold.
- Drain the water contained in the boilers by
opening the drain taps.
- Cover the machine with a cotton cloth and place it
in a room free of dust and humidity.
11.7 RE-COMMISSIONING THE MACHINE
To re-commission the machine, proceed as follows:
- Clean the machine thoroughly.
- Dispense water from the shuttering tap located
upstream of the machine to eliminate any residue
from the pipe.
- Clean or replace the filters installed upstream of
the machine.
- Close the drain tap and refit the upper cup
heating plate.
- Perform the commissioning operations as
described in the relevant paragraph.

14 CHECKS AND CONTROLS
AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF
INACTIVITY
ATTENTION: after prolonged
inactivity, the machine must be
checked by a specialised technician
Before using the machine, the
following operations must be
performed:
- Clean the machine thoroughly.
- Dispense water from the
shuttering tap upstream of the
machine to eliminate residues in
the pipe.
- Clean or replace the filters
installed upstream of the machine.
- Reconnect water and power
supplies as described in the
chapter "Installation" in this
manual.
- Check there are no leaks in the
water supply circuit.
- Start the machine and perform the
first start-up operations described
in the relevant chapter of this
manual.
