REAR DEFLECTOR KIT

Refer to the Rear Deflector section of the Parts Manual
1 . Remove rear chain guards or belting from the
FX-315 if any are installed.
2 . Install the Rear Deflector Mount Brackets using
twenty ½" x 1-1/2" bolts and twenty ½" lock
washers.
3 . Mount the right and left Deflector Actuator to
the wing wheel standards using two ½" U-Bolts
and four ½" locknuts per mount bracket. Ensure
the Deflector Actuator is positioned tight
against the wheel standard leg.
4 . Attach the deflectors to the mount brackets
using two ¾" x 6" pins and four roll pins for each
wing deflector and three ¾" x 6" pins and six
cotterpins for the center deflector.
5 . The Float Links are attached to the Deflector
Actuator using six roll pins and two ¾" washers.
6 . The Adjustment Bar is attached to the Float
Links using a ¾" x 2-1/2" bolt, a ¾" washer and
a ¾" locknut. The Adjustment Bar is attached to
the deflectors using a ½" x 2" bolt and a ½"
locknut. The bolt and locknut should be left
slightly loose so the Adjustment Bar and the
Float Link can move and pivot relative to one
another.
